Conditional Use Hearing Continued For
Baederwood Residential Partners Proposal

Abington Township will continue its "Conditional Use Hearing for Baederwood Residential Partners," according to a statement from the municipality.
The hearing will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at 6:00 PM, at the Abington Township Municipal Building located at 1176 Old York Road (at Horace Avenue) in Abington.
The hearing, according to the statement from Abington Township, will focus on a "property located adjacent to the north side of the Baederwood Shopping Center, which property has no street address and is identified as Montgomery County Tax Map Parcel No. 30-00-66644-00-7, within the Fairway Transit Zoning District of the Township of Abington, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania."
"This is an application requesting Conditional Use approval to permit a Transit Oriented Development, in the Fairway Transit Zoning District, including the construction of a 244-unit apartment building on the rear 8.32 acres of a tract of land that also includes ±10.56 acres fronting on Fairway Valley Road, which ±10.56 acres are owned by BSC Jenkintown Limited Partnership," the statement continued.
