The President Should Resign Or Should Be Removed

An Opinion Of An American Citizen

The President should resign.  Immediately.

Vice President Michael Pence would then become President.

If the President does not resign, Vice President Pence should invoke the 25th Amendment to the United States Constitution.  This will allow a swift removal of the President.  Immediately.

Vice President Pence would then become Acting President.

If Vice President Pence does not proceed with that action, the United States House of Representatives should impeach the President and the United States Senate should then remove the President from the leadership of our nation.  Immediately.

Vice President Pence would then become President.

Though his term would be short in time, whether as President or as Acting President, Mr. Pence would be able to peacefully transfer power to President-Elect Joseph Biden.

Regardless of your political beliefs or philosophy, Donald Trump no longer has the moral authority to serve as President.

The elected leaders of our country should now move to remove his legal authority to serve as President.

The activities of January 6, 2021, will be remembered for decades to come.
